CaribPulse Global News Network (CPGNNews)

INDEPENDENT INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC INTEREST MEDIA

Born in the Caribbean, Open to the World!

CaribPulse Global News Network, CPGNNews, is an independent international public interest media organization born in the Caribbean and legally established in Haiti on March 20, 2026. From its creation, CPGNNews was conceived not as a regional media organization seeking to expand internationally, but as an international editorial institution whose point of origin is the Caribbean and whose field of vision is the world. The Caribbean gives CPGNNews its historical, cultural and intellectual perspective; it does not define the limits of its journalism.

CPGNNews brings together journalism, investigation, analysis, research and public knowledge through a multimedia and multilingual editorial platform. Its work extends across Haiti and the Caribbean, the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and other areas of international relevance. It covers international relations, geopolitics, governance, democracy, institutions, public policy, economics, finance, international trade, sustainable development, climate and the environment, science, technology, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, cybersecurity, innovation, education, culture, human rights, humanitarian affairs and the major social transformations shaping the contemporary world.

The purpose of CPGNNews is not simply to increase the volume of information available to the public. It is to contribute to a better understanding of that information. Through news reporting, long form journalism, investigations, thematic dossiers, strategic studies, interviews, reports, documentaries, podcasts, audiovisual productions and other forms of editorial work, CPGNNews seeks to establish connections between events, facts, history, institutions and broader forces. Its journalism asks not only what happened, but also why it happened, what it means, what evidence supports competing interpretations and what consequences may follow.

This approach is rooted in a commitment to accuracy, verification, context, pluralism, intellectual independence, human dignity and public accountability. CPGNNews distinguishes reporting from analysis and opinion, separates verified information from allegations and acknowledges uncertainty where the available evidence does not permit definitive conclusions. It seeks to examine competing perspectives without creating false equivalence and to question established narratives without replacing them with another predetermined interpretation. Its editorial independence means that journalism is guided by professional standards and public interest rather than by political, ideological, commercial or institutional pressure.

The international vocation of CPGNNews is inseparable from its Caribbean identity. The Caribbean is one of the world’s great crossroads of peoples, cultures, languages, histories, economies and political experiences. It is a region deeply connected to North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa and the wider international system. CPGNNews therefore approaches the world from a Caribbean point of view while refusing both regional isolation and global homogenization. It seeks to bring Caribbean realities into international understanding while examining global developments through a perspective attentive to their consequences for Caribbean societies and other communities often underrepresented in international discourse.

Haiti occupies an important place within this perspective because it is part of CPGNNews’s institutional and historical origin. Yet Haiti is not the boundary of its journalism. CPGNNews seeks to contribute to an international media environment in which societies traditionally treated as subjects of international reporting can also participate in interpreting the world. Its international vocation is therefore not to speak on behalf of every society, but to create a space in which different experiences, regions, cultures and intellectual traditions can be examined seriously and placed in meaningful dialogue.

CPGNNews is also committed to multilingual and multimedia access. English, French and Spanish constitute its principal editorial languages, while additional languages may be developed according to editorial capacity and audience needs, including Haitian Creole, Portuguese, German, Arabic, Chinese, Hebrew, Hindi and Japanese. This linguistic architecture reflects the conviction that international journalism should not merely speak outward to the world; it should also make knowledge and international developments more accessible across linguistic and cultural boundaries.

The multimedia dimension of CPGNNews is an extension of the same editorial identity. Written journalism, audiovisual production, documentaries, podcasts, digital storytelling and future television and radio initiatives are conceived as complementary forms of one international public interest media project. The purpose of using multiple formats is not simply to multiply content, but to choose the form best suited to the subject, the evidence and the needs of the audience.

Technology and artificial intelligence are increasingly transforming the production, distribution and consumption of information. CPGNNews regards these technologies as tools that can strengthen journalism when used responsibly, while recognizing that they cannot replace human judgment, verification, ethical responsibility or editorial accountability. Artificial intelligence may assist research, translation, transcription, data analysis, accessibility and other legitimate processes, but responsibility for published journalism remains fundamentally human. As CPGNNews develops, this commitment may also extend to professional development, journalism education and innovation initiatives addressing artificial intelligence, verification, disinformation, data journalism, digital transformation and the evolving needs of twenty first century journalism.

CPGNNews also seeks to build connections between journalism and knowledge. Journalists, researchers, academics, diplomats, economists, policy specialists, scientists, entrepreneurs, civil society actors and independent experts may contribute to the understanding of complex issues within clearly defined editorial frameworks. Their expertise can enrich journalism without replacing it, just as journalism can make specialized knowledge more accessible without reducing its complexity. CPGNNews sees this interaction as part of its broader role in strengthening informed public debate.

At the center of this institutional identity is a commitment to human dignity. Political decisions affect people. Economic transformations reshape communities. Technological change alters opportunities and vulnerabilities. Climate pressures affect livelihoods and future generations. Conflicts and humanitarian crises leave consequences long after the news cycle has moved on. CPGNNews therefore seeks to practice journalism that remains rigorous without becoming detached, analytical without becoming impersonal, critical without becoming partisan and international without losing sight of the people behind the facts.

CPGNNews is institutionally part of the Haitian Humanitarian Alliance for Inclusion, Dignity and Empowerment, HHAIDE, while maintaining editorial independence from the organization’s programmatic, administrative, financial and institutional activities. HHAIDE provides an institutional foundation, but CPGNNews retains responsibility for its editorial decisions, reporting, investigations, analysis, sources, publication and corrections. This distinction is essential: CPGNNews is not the institutional communication arm of HHAIDE, and its journalism is not required to defend the organization with which it is institutionally associated. CPGNNews may report on HHAIDE, its programmes, leadership or activities according to the same standards it applies to any other organization.

The long term ambition of CPGNNews is to build a credible, sustainable and internationally recognized public interest media institution whose value is measured by the quality of its journalism, the seriousness of its research, the integrity of its methods and the trust it earns from the public. Its objective is not to speak louder than others, but to contribute information, context, knowledge and analysis that enable people to understand a complex world with greater clarity and independence of judgment.

CPGNNews was born in the Caribbean, but its horizon is the world. Its identity is international without being detached from its origins, analytical without being confined to analysis, multimedia without sacrificing editorial depth, multilingual without losing coherence, and technologically open without surrendering human responsibility.
